(Traverse City, MI) April 14th, 2019 – The Two Most Exciting Minutes In Sports comes to Iron Fish Distillery during the 3rd Annual #IronFishDerby Hats & Horses Kentucky Derby Party, so get your very best hat or bow tie ready, and prepare to be part of a festive celebration while supporting a great cause! Hat’s and Horse’s is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Betsie Valley Trail. The Betsie Valley Trail is a four season recreational trail that runs throughout Benzie County, Michigan.
Hats & Horses a ticketed event, 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 4th features a live horse race, with jockeys and all. Each guest tickets include a delicious southern pig roast, two Iron Fish derby drinks, live music by Bootstrap Boys, and a Derby hat and bow tie contest. Additionally, the Betsie Valley fundraiser will include a silent and delicious homemade pie auction. Guests are encouraged to wear their finest spring attire; Hats & Horses is a great time for attendees to get creative with Derby hats and bow ties that demonstrate their love for the derby flare. “The wilder, the better,” co-owner Richard Anderson said. “We can’t wait to see them!”
