Detroit Bourbon & Blues Festival brings old and new friends together with an immersive tasting festival of whiskey, bourbon, and live music. Blending the rich history of brown spirits, blues music, and the lively nature of the Detroit community– this event invites enthusiasts to celebrate with a glass half full.
On Friday, October 3rd, 2025, Detroit’s historic Eastern Market Shed 5 will be transformed into a lively venue in which guests are invited to sip, savor, and enjoy live blues music. In collaboration with Eastern Market, this landmark location offers the perfect site to highlight the rich history of bourbon, blues, and Detroit’s impact on these iconic American crafts.
Our immersive Tasting Experience invites guests to sample a variety of bourbons and whiskeys curated by our bourbon-loving staff. VIP guests will enjoy 2-hr early access, along with special giveaways and exclusive tastings. General Admission will join at 7 PM.
New this year, Detroit Bourbon & Blues is offering Mixology Classes presented by Louisville Tourism. These classes allow you to get behind that bar and learn how to make some signature cocktails with guidance from professional mixologists. Expand your knowledge and test your skills with this hands-on experience.
