Barrel Strength Series
The Barrel Strength Series features the barrel-finished bourbons you’ve come to know from Iron Fish Distillery in a high-proof, single barrel selection with some exciting additions. We source barrels from wineries, breweries, and distilleries all over the world and bring them to northern Michigan. We then finish a three year old high-rye bourbon in those barrels that made the journey to our farm. A great balance of flavor and heat, each spirit in the Barrel Strength Series is influenced by the original spirits held in these sourced barrels.
THE SPIRITS
BARREL STRENGTH BOURBON WHISKEY FINISHED IN MAPLE SYRUP BARRELS

Surprisingly mellow for barrel strength, the first sip is rich, slightly sweet, and reminiscent of caramel spread. Gradually, cinnamon and nutmeg work their way into the flavor and build into hot roar on the tongue, tempered by faint notes of maple syrup.
