“Haiven Sellers is an American singer/songwriter and graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy. She discovered her passion for music at the age of nine when she began learning violin. After moving to Long Island, she joined the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York as both a violinist and violist, and performed with the group for four years at venues such as Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. In high school, Haiven learned to play the guitar and piano, and quickly began composing her own songs. She began performing professionally at the age of fourteen at small venues across Long Island. When the opportunity arose for her to attend Interlochen Arts Academy, she leapt at the chance. She graduated from IAA with High Honors with Distinction in May 2021. Haiven released her debut album, “Vivid”, on July 16th. She composed all of the music and lyrics, drawing on influences ranging from Indie/folk to classic rock, often embellished with her own lush string arrangements. In the summer of 2021, she toured Michigan with fellow Interlochen alum Breezy Love. Haiven is currently attending the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts as a songwriting major and is in the process of recording her second album.”
