About “The Mad Angler Meets The Mad Cellist”
This moving and expressive performance will feature writer Michael Delp reading selections from his “Mad Angler” poems and prose, while musician Crispin Campbell plays improvised music on cello. Campbell has performed at the Italian Clazz International Music Festival and at the Colombian Semana de la Cuerdas in Medellin, among many other appearances. Delp’s literary works have been recognized and highlighted at Michigan State University in their Michigan Writers Series among other honors, and he is known for writing about nature, especially fishing and water. Campbell and Delp are both retired Interlochen Center for the Arts instructors and their unlikely collaboration started as a recording project supported by FLOW to honor the link between art and sense of place.
